SNMPCONFPATH

Using snmp utils for win32... where to put snmp*.conf?

Anywhere you want, just as long as you set env variable SNMPCONFPATH to wherever you place them.

Simple, hum??

Pidgin home dir

What once was '%GAIMHOME%', while Yahoo did not do their thing, now on Pidgin is '%PURPLEHOME%'.

Change Gaim Data folder

Where are my Gaim settings and data (including logs) saved?

As of 0.69, shfolder.dll is used to determine the location for a user's app data.
On Windows ME this will be something like C:\WINDOWS\Profiles\username and on Win 2k/XP C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data.

This can be overridden by setting the GAIMHOME environmental variable (as of v1.1.0).
Logs are stored in this directory in a subdirectory called "logs."

Windows OpenSSH home directory

Look in your /etc/passwd file.
You should see entries that look something like this:
depriest::43363:513:DePriest, Jason R,U-:/home/depriest:/bin/b
ash

You can edit the file manually and change the '/home/' entry to be whatever you wish. For instance, if I created a directory called C:\MyDirectory and wanted that to be my home directory, the same line would now read:

depriest::43363:513:DePriest, Jason R,U-:/cygdrive/c/MyDirectory:/bin/bash
