" - Do an "esxcfg-vswitch -l" and a "esxcfg-nics -l" to make sure the vSwitch and the physical NICs associated with it are now set to an MTU of 9000.
- Create the port group and add it to the vSwitch "esxcfg-vswitch -a
" - Create a VMkernel interface and associated port group "esxcfg-vmknic -a -i
-n -m 9000 " - Test it "vmkping -s 9000

VMware machine on Linux over NTFS
When you get any VMware host software on Linux (Server or Workstation) running any guest on NTFS filesystem, you get ntfs-3g to 100% CPU usage on a regular basis.
This can be overiden by setting
